About Me
Hello! My name is Kelly Elizabeth Rohan. I was born August 21st 1990, in St. Louis Missouri. I’am the oldest daughter to Mark and Alison Rohan, and sister to Brooke Rohan.
I spent 19 years of my life living in St. Louis Missouri, before attending college in Edwardsville at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in the Fall of 2009. After several major changes I finally became declared as a Community Health Education major in the Spring 2010. One of my biggest accomplishments during my time at SIUE was, finishing my senior project Snuff Out Tobacco, where I was able to plan, implement, and evaluate a health program with two other classmates. My group was given the chance to take our knowledge into a high school classroom and educate them about the harmful effects of using Tobacco products. Since graduating from SIUE in December 2013, I choose to travel to Australia where I lived for four months with a wounderful family as their live in AuPair. It was a once in a life time opportunity. Once I returned to the United States, I was able to take my knowledge and skills into the Women's Health work place. I am currently a Crisis Intervention Counselor at The Hope Clinic for Women in Granite City, Illinois. Educating women on their reproductive health rights as well as educating on birth control and contraceptives.
When I am not in school I really enjoy being active and working out. My lifestyle has changed for the better since being in this major and so has my health. My favorite thing is cheering on my St. Louis Cardinals, Rams, Blues, and Missouri Tigers!
